Sakshi had never believed in ghosts—until the night she encountered the man in the black jacket. It happened on a cold winter evening when she was returning home from her coaching class. The streets were unusually empty, and a strange fog had settled over the town.
As she walked, she noticed a tall man wearing a black jacket standing under a streetlight. His face was hidden by the shadow of his hood. At first, Sakshi ignored him—until he suddenly appeared again at the next turn… and then the next. Wherever she went, he was already there, silently watching.
Her heartbeat grew louder. She finally gathered courage and turned to confront him. “Who are you?” she shouted. But the man didn’t move. Instead, the streetlight flickered, and in the blink of an eye, he vanished.
Terrified, Sakshi ran home and locked herself inside. But the horror wasn’t over. That night, as she tried to sleep, she heard slow footsteps outside her window. When she looked out, her blood froze. The same black jacket hung in the air—without a body inside it.
A whisper echoed through the room:
“I never left.”
Since that night, Sakshi says the jacket still follows her… and she never walks alone after dark
