Deep inside a forgotten valley lay a village named Koldhara, a place people spoke of only in whispers. Locals believed the village was haunted by a mysterious woman dressed entirely in red. They said she walked the empty streets every night, her footsteps echoing like dry leaves in the wind.
One evening, Aarav, a young traveler, decided to stay in the abandoned village despite strict warnings. As darkness fell, the temperature dropped sharply. The silence became unnerving. Suddenly, Aarav heard the faint sound of anklets approaching from behind. He turned, but no one was there.
Moments later, he saw her—
A tall woman in a red saree, her face hidden behind long, tangled hair. She stood motionless at the end of the street. Aarav felt his chest tighten. When he blinked, she appeared closer… then closer again… without taking a single step.
Her hair slowly parted, revealing a face with no eyes—only hollow, black sockets.
Aarav tried to run, but his legs refused to move. The woman raised her hand and whispered, “Why did you come back?”
Before he could scream, everything went silent.
When villagers returned the next morning, Aarav’s belongings were found near the old well—
but he was never seen again
