It was a dark, stormy night when Ramesh boarded the last train leaving the small town. The platform was eerily silent, and the old station clock had stopped ticking at midnight. As the train began to move, Ramesh noticed the compartments were unusually empty, except for a few passengers sitting quietly with blank faces. Their eyes glowed faintly in the dim light.
At first, he thought they were just tired travelers. But soon, he realized something was wrong—the train wasn’t stopping at any station. The landscapes outside turned into dense forests and shadowy fields he had never seen before. When he tried talking to a fellow passenger, the man turned slowly, revealing a hollow, ghostly face.
Panic set in. The air grew colder, and whispers echoed through the compartment—voices of people long dead. Suddenly, the train screeched, not at a platform, but at a deserted graveyard. One by one, the ghostly passengers disappeared into the mist, leaving Ramesh alone.
He tried to get off, but the doors wouldn’t open. The train moved again, faster and faster, dragging him deeper into the unknown.
Till this day, locals whisper—whoever boards that cursed train… never returns.
