Did Dogesh Really Encounter a Ghost? | Haunted Banyan Tree Horror Story

Dogesh was returning home late at night from his friend’s house. The road was deserted, surrounded by silent fields and the occasional rustling of dry leaves. The clock struck midnight, and the air grew unusually cold. Suddenly, Dogesh heard soft footsteps behind him. He turned back—no one was there.

Trying to ignore it, he walked faster. But then he noticed muddy footprints forming on the road, as if someone invisible was following him. His heartbeat raced, and fear gripped his chest. When he reached the old banyan tree near the village boundary, he froze. A shadowy figure stood there, motionless, staring at him. Its eyes glowed faintly in the darkness.

Gathering courage, Dogesh whispered, “Who are you?” The figure didn’t answer, but the wind howled, and the tree’s branches moved like skeletal hands. Suddenly, the shadow rushed toward him. Dogesh screamed, but in the next moment, he found himself standing at his house’s doorstep—his clothes drenched in sweat.

No one knows how he got there. Did Dogesh truly encounter a ghost, or was it just his imagination? Even today, whenever he passes that banyan tree, he feels the same icy chill

The Haunted Toll Booth: Whoever Stopped, Never Returned | Scary Horror Story

On a deserted highway outside the city stood an old toll booth, abandoned for years. Travelers avoided stopping there, especially at night, because of a chilling legend whispered among locals: “Whoever stops at that toll booth, never returns.”

One stormy night, a young truck driver named Arjun was running late. As he reached the broken toll gate, he noticed a dim lantern glowing inside the booth. Thinking it was a guard, he stopped his truck and stepped out to pay. Inside, he saw a pale, thin man in a dusty uniform, his eyes glowing faintly red. The man stretched his hand and whispered, “Your toll…”

Arjun hesitated but dropped a few coins. The moment the coins hit the counter, the booth turned dark, the lantern went out, and the man’s face twisted into a horrifying grin. Shadows swirled around Arjun, pulling him into the booth. His screams echoed through the night, but no one heard.

The next morning, villagers found his empty truck still running near the toll booth—engine humming, headlights on, but no sign of Arjun.

Since then, no one dares to stop there, for the toll booth still waits… hungry for its next victim.
