Deep in a remote village stood an old, crumbling mansion that no one dared to enter after sunset. The villagers whispered about strange lights flickering inside and eerie laughter echoing through the night. Years ago, the mansion belonged to a wealthy landlord who mysteriously
vanished along with his entire family. Since then, anyone who tried to stay there never returned.
One stormy evening, a traveler named Arjun decided to spend the night inside the haunted mansion, dismissing the warnings
as superstition. As midnight struck, the temperature dropped, and the walls began to whisper his name. A shadowy figure appeared in the hallway — pale, hollow-eyed, and chained. Arjun tried to run, but the doors slammed shut on their own. The ghostly figure pointed toward a hidden cellar where blood-stained portraits of the missing family hung on the walls.
By morning, the villagers found the door wide open but Arjun was gone — leaving only his footprints leading into the mansion and none coming out. Since that night, the mansion’s windows glow again every stormy night, as if waiting for its next visitor.

The Message of the Lost Soul: A Terrifying Tale of an Unfinished Story
Arjun, a passionate writer, moved into an old colonial house to find inspiration for his next story. The villagers warned him — “That place holds a restless soul.” Ignoring them, Arjun began writing late into the night.
One evening, while typing, he heard faint
whispers behind him. When he turned, the room was empty — except for a candle flickering on its own. The next morning, he found a note on his desk written in trembling handwriting: “Finish my story… or join me forever.”
Terrified but curious, Arjun dug into the house’s past and discovered that a
young woman named Meera once lived there — a writer who died mysteriously before completing her novel. Her unfinished manuscript was never found.
That night, the whispers grew louder. Arjun saw Meera’s reflection in the
mirror, her eyes hollow yet pleading. He picked up his pen, completing her story in one breath. As he wrote the final line, the room filled with light — and Meera’s ghost smiled before vanishing forever.
But when the publisher received Arjun’s draft, his signature wasn’t there — only one name was written in blood-red ink:
“Meera.”
